The development of an experimental criterion program for industrial education

The Problem [line break] This research was to develop an experimental criterion program technique of teaching for Industrial materials and to implement the program in a course, Industrial Materials and Manufacturing Processes, at Texas A&M University. The criterion program incorporated a variety of teaching techniques and was developed into a highly structured, program-directed, teacher-supervised general shop environment. The primary purposes were those of improving teaching excellence plus greater efficiency and effectiveness in the areas of content, use of student class time, and use of teacher time. ..
