International audienceA global safety assessment of geological storage of CO2 involves looking both at the direct protection of the populations wi threspect to health and sanitary risks, and at the mitigation of CO2 with respect to global warming. A set of safety criteria can bedefined in order to assess the impact on human and environment of CO2 leaking from the reservoir.
