National audienceAs pesticides are becoming a primary focus of studies due to their potentially harmful nature, this article examines the factors leading certain winegrowers to apply doses exceeding the official recommendations. Our approach is founded on an original methodology which matches four databases: the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN); the crop management practices survey (PK) in the winegrowing sector; the database which identifies authorised doses per input (e-phy); and climatic data (Météo France).
