Taenia soliumcauses cysticercosis. Control of the zoonotic reservoir is an important component of eliminating this disease. In this study conducted in eastern Zambia, a combination approach that included treatment in pigs and humans showed that substantial control of the disease may be possible in sub-Saharan Africa
