She was built for the Weston Transit Company of Tonawanda, New York. In 1910, she was sold to the Pittsburgh Steamship Company of Cleveland, Ohio. From 1952 to 1975, when she was scrapped, the vessel was owned by the U.S. Steel Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio
