This vessel was built in Hebburn-on-Tyne, Great Britain in 1906 by R. Stephenson and Company for the Mathews Steamship Company of Toronto, Ontario. Mathews owned the vessel until 1913 when she was sold to the Canada Steamship Lines of Montreal, Quebec. She was scrapped by that company in 1961 at Lauzon, Quebec
