A visit by the writer to the Furneaux Group in November, 1912, resulted in the addition of several species to our list, and careful investigations in Port Arthur and D'Entrecasteaux Channel have largely increased our knowledge of our Chiton fauna, adding new species and extending the distribution of others. The dredging operations in connection with the two last Easter camps of the Field Naturalists' Club at Safety Cove and Thouin or Wineglass Bay, have also added a number of interesting species. These localities are respectively the most northern and most southern spots at which deep-water dredging has been carried out in Tasmania.
