Cartoons drawn by T.C.W. Midwood (1855-1912).Midwood was employed as a draughtsman by the Public Works Department, but was better known for his caricatures in the Tasmanian Mail and the Critic. He had also spent some years in the U.S.A. and Honolulu, and toured as a guitarist with a musical show in the U.S.A. This family collection of cartoons mainly depict colleagues, members of his household and local Hobart characters.The cartoons are pen and wash, a few coloured, and various sizes
