PERANCANGAN APLIKASI SISTEM PELAYANAN GANGGUAN PDAM BERBASIS MOBILE TEKNOLOGI (STUDI KASUS PADA PDAM TIRTA AMERTAJATI KABUPATEN JEMBRANA-BALI)

Damage disturbance Complaint service at PDAM in Jembrana regency Bali still faced many technical problems, especially in handling people complaint related with waterline disturbance. Along this time PDAM still used phone and text message as damage disturbance report facility, so itÂ’s often unsynchronization between data and information from the obstacle and inhibit the PDAM damage service performance. Phone and text message as information tool made innacurateness of data received by PDAM. Disturbance service application which has mobile basis can be solution of information line from customer to PDAM or branch to central office of PDAM.\ud System service phase to be made is, customer can get J2ME application directly in PDAM office. The application consisted of J2ME application integrated with customersÂ’ handphone camera, so the customer can report complaint in form of picture taken from cell phone camera and directly stored in customer database. Technical operator cell phone which has installed J2ME application will update information from database in time to find out information of disturbance needed.\ud By this system, it’s expected to support PDAM disturbance service to public by more efficient way, and speed up information from branch office to central office of PDAM
