In this paper modelling assumptions for the prediction of tip vortex flow and vortex cavitation with the RANS equations and homogeneous fluid approach in Open-FOAM are presented. The effects of the changes in the turbulence model are investigated and the results are compared with PIV measurements.Marine and Transport TechnologyMechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineerin
