Integrated GPS and GSM Applied on the Automobile Positioning and Monitoring System

[[abstract]]本論文主要研究整合泛歐式行動電話通訊系統(Global System for Mobile Communications，簡稱GSM系統)和全球衛星定位系統(Global Positioning System，簡稱GPS系統) 應用於汽車定位與監視系統，亦即設計一套可以遠端遙控、傳送簡訊與警報的系統。 利用GSM系統中的「簡訊服務」(SMS, Short Message Service) 之發/收簡訊功能，設計一個可即時回傳和接受遠端控制的警報系統。同時，搭配GPS系統所具有的提供定位點資料，以設計回傳定位點資料的系統。本論文所設計的警報系統兼具即時回傳、遠端控制和回傳定位點資料等功能。 最後，藉由系統的實際測試結果驗証，系統的功能完全符合設計，且採GSM系統的「簡訊服務」設計理念，系統未來可朝舒適化功能發展，提升系統的價值及實用性。[[abstract]]The objective of this thesis is to study the integrated GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) and GPS (Global Positioning System) applied on the automobile positioning and monitoring system. This system can be designed having the functions of remote control, short message service, alarm and security. By virtue of the send/receive message function of the short message service (SMS) from GSM system, a real time security system can be designed for the use of report and remote control. Integrated the GPS system, this system can also report the position data of the automobile. The security system studied in this thesis will have the functions of real time position report, and remote control. Finally, by the experimental results, the system is in complete accordance with the functions which be designed at the previous planning. By virtue of the send/receive message function of the short message service (SMS) from GSM system, the system can be designed having the functions of comfortable condition. And the system will be more valuable and more practicable
