Dear colleagues, This Special Issue of the Review of Psychology includes a collection of the abstracts of the contributions to the 9th Alps-Adria Psychology Conference that took place on September 16 – 18, 2010 at the Alps-Adria University of Klagenfurt in Austria, and the awarded papers presented by six young scientists at this conference. In the preparation phase to the first conference (then called a symposium), the author of this foreword visited all the departments of psychology of the universities in the Alps-Adria region.
