The aim of this work is to identify the needs and appropriate solution strategies for knowledge management, creating digital content from the documentary heritage that guards the National Library. To achieve this goal aims to address this problem and need, using the tools offered by ICT, both from the field of digitization and dissemination of electronic files that are produced, which would be concentrated and distributed in a repository open Access. Finally a set of guidelines for the establishment and description of the objects to be managed by the institutional repository, which will be developed on the DSpace platform is established.
