[[abstract]]In this paper, an investigation of active vibration controller for single degree of freedom and multiple degrees of freedom isolation platforms is presented. Three different active vibration control techniques are implemented and compared in the experimental works. Apart from adaptive feedforward and feedback control systems, a hybrid controller which is a combination of the adaptive control with filtered-x least mean squares algorithm and linear quadratic gaussian state feedback theory for obtaining robust performance and fast convergence is proposed.
