This study investigated the prevalence offood insecurity in the Hispanic populations in two rural Wisconsin villages, as research has indicated some Hispanic populations have higher food insecurity prevalence than the general population. Two instruments, the Household Food Security Module and the Demographic and Socioeconomic Profile, were used to gather data about household food security status and household factors that might align with household food security status. Data were gathered from April through October, 2013. The results indicated a high food insecurity prevalence.
