This thesis explored the use of social media at one Midwestern University to understand how student organizations used social media to communicate with students. Through a review of existing research, it was found that past research has focused on how institutions used social media. No studies were identified that examined student organizations\u27 use specifically. The research sought to understand if social media was used to engage more students on campus. The research is important to understanding strategies to increase student engagement.
