MicroRNA-125b (miR-125b) is upregulated in a variety of neoplastic blood disorders. We previously showed that miR-125b expression is enriched in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs), and that upregulation of miR-125b in the mouse hematopoietic system causes an aggressive acute myeloid leukemia.
