First little grebe Tachybaptus ruficolllis breeding records for the island of Ibiza. During the month of September 2007 breeding was confirmed for the first time in Ibiza, involving at least one pair of little grebes Tachybaptus ruficollis in one of the ponds on the Roca Llisa golf course (Santa Eulària des Riu), where an adult was observed feeding a chick just a few days old accompanied by a second chick
