This work aims to analyze the historical essay on the Revolution of May and Mariano Moreno (1920), written by Ricardo Levene (1885-1959), professor and member of the Board of History and Numismatics, and inserted in the context of the celebrations of the centenary of the May Revolution of 1810, where he used the trajectory of one of the leading May leaders to discuss the importance of liberalism to the Revolution.
