Nowadays, many technical devices are controlled by logic circuits. These circuits evaluate the situation based on the proposed truth functions, which they then use to perform one of the defined actions. In line with the increasing complexity of individual technical devices, the logic circuits and truth functions are also increasingly complex. For this reason, it makes sense to minimise these functions since they can thereby achieve a simpler technological process and the higher reliability of whole logic systems.
