Este artículo pretende aportar nuevos datos al análisis de cómo los jóvenes acceden a las fuentes de información y consumen sus contenidos. Para ello se aplicó una encuesta a estudiantes de Sociología y Publicidad de la Universidad de Alicante (España), durante el curso 2017-2018. Esta población es, dentro de la heterogeneidad del colectivo de jóvenes, un grupo privilegiado tanto en acceso a la tecnología como en conocimientos sobre comunicación. Se han analizado sus preferencias y percepciones, así como las formas en que interactúan con contenidos informativos.
