Introduction: The food retail environment may partially explain racial and ethnic disparities in diet and health. However, there is limited understanding of how specific aspects of the food retail environment and food shopping locations may be associated with cardiometabolic (blood pressure, HbA1c, cholesterol, BMI) and self-rated health in low-income minority populations.
