IMPLEMENTASI KERJASAMA INDONESIA-AUSTRALIA DALAM BIDANG KEAMANAN: STUDI KASUS KERJASAMA PPATK-AUSTRAC DALAM MENGHADAPI ANCAMAN TERORISME

Indonesia and Australia have established bilateral cooperation relations from various sectors, one of them is the partnership in the Financial Intelligent Unit (FIU) between the two countries. This partnership was established between PPATK ( Indonesian’s FIU) and AUSTRAC (Australian’s FIU). This partnership is called the PPATK AUSTRAC Partership Program (PAPP), which began in 2010. The purpose of this reserch is to discuss the partnership between PPATK and AUSTRAC and its achievements. This reserch uses descriptive methods that are analyzed using the concept of counter terrorism. The data from this reserch were taken from library data in the form of books, research journals, and press releases from PPATK and AUSTRAC. The results of the analysis show that the parnership between Indonesia and Australia in the FIU coorporation is implemented through the Counter Terrorism Financing Summit held since 2015 in Sydney. The collaboration between the two institutions is also implemented through Technical Assistance to increase the effectiveness of alleviating terrorism funding transactions
