PENGARUH URIN SAPI SEBAGAI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR DENGAN PENAMBAHAN EM4 TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN PEPAYA CALIFORNIA (Carica papaya L ) SEBAGAI KAJIAN SUMBER BELAJAR BIOLOGI

The use of cow urine as liquid organic fertilizer is one way to reduce the dependence of the farmers will inorganic fertilizer . The purpose of this research is to know the extent of the effect of cow urine as a liquid organic fertilizer with the addition of EM4 to the growth of plant papaya plants (Carica papaya L) and the results of this study used as a study of biological learning resources. The parameters used in the research are high crop and diameter rods. This type of research is the real experimental research by using the experimental design of The Pretest-Postest Only Control Group Design by using complete random design (RAL) with 7 treatment and 4 times repeated in control + concentration of 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 45%, and 50%. The population of this research is a plant seed papaya plant (Carica papaya L) that is 1 month old has the same height and number of leaves. The method used to analyze the data was One-eay Anova and the researcher conducted the advanced test with the use of Dunn's Multi Range Test (DMRT) at a significance 5% level. The results of this study showed that the concentration of 50% given to the plant papaya plant (Carica papaya L) is the optimal concentration on the height growth and number of plant leaves. The conclusion of the study was to gain the influence of cow urine as a liquid organic fertilizer with the addition of EM4 to the growth of papaya plants (Carica papaya L) at concentrations of 50% had optimal effects. This research can be used as a study of learning resources for High School Biology in grade 12 in Basic Competence 3.1 Analyze the relationship between external and internal factors with the growth process and development of living things based on the experimental results and Basic Competence 4.1 Plan and carry out experiments on external factors that affect the process of plant growth, and report in writing using correct scientific writing procedures
