PENGARUH SELF-EFFICACY TERHADAP WORK ENGAGEMENT PADA KARYAWAN KONTRAK

Employees as human resources are very important in achieving company goals. Therefore, companies need to have employees who are passionate, absorbed in work and improve themselves in the company. Furthermore, self-efficacy is predicted as a predictor of employee engagement. Based on this, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy on work engagement on employees who work as contract employees. The criteria for these employees are aged between 20-35 years and have worked at least 1 year. The subjects of this study were 150 people using purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used were Generalized Self-efficacy Scale and Short Version Utrecth Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17). The results of data analysis using linear regression analysis showed that there was a positive effect of self-efficacy on work engagement on contract employees by 50.8
