PERAN LEMBAGA PEMBERDAYAAN ANAK NEGERI (LPAN) GRIYA BACA DALAM MEMBERDAYAKAN ANAK JALANAN DI KOTA MALANG

This study aims to determine the role of the Griya Baca State Child Empowerment Institution (LPAN) and the implementation of the Griya Baca State Child Empowerment Institute (LPAN) in empowering street children in Malang. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were administrators of the Griya Baca State Children's Empowerment Institute (LPAN) and included as part of the informants were employees of the Social Service, Collaborators and surrounding communities.Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The results showed: first, the State Children's Empowerment Institute (LPAN) Griya Baca has four roles: facilitator, educator, representative, and technical role. Second, in the implementation of empowerment programsincreasing the interests and talents of street children through interest and talent programs, increasing good character in behavior and ethics through the Motivation Motivation Training program, enhancing and providing the needs of the younger siblings who attend school through the Come on School Program which is intended to help foster younger siblings in school affairs, from school fees to help in school supplies such as stationery, shoes, bags, books and others. And to improve and strengthen the religious knowledge of LPAN Griya Baca held a pesantren kilat program with the aim of this activity was to establish the personal and character of Islamic fostered children
