STUDI LITERATUR TENTANG PENGARUH TERAPI INFUSED WATER UNTUK KESEHATAN

Infused water is another alternative in consuming water. The drink consists of water mixed with pieces of fruit and herbs, then soaked for some time so that the juice and herbs are mixed with water. The benefits of infused water have many benefits which when soaking the juice will come out into the water so that vitamins and minerals are maintained, mixing various fruits, can also be combined with various herbal ingredients according to their needs and efficacy, the presentation is also easy and the ingredients what is needed is an easily obtainable material. This study aims to examine the effect of infused water therapy for health using literature studies. Methods: The research method uses literature studies, studies 13 international journals and national journals, using the Google Scholar database. with the keywords "infused water AND health, water infussion AND health, water infussion AND diabetic, water infussion AND hypertension and water infussion AND cholesterol" and "infused water AND health, infused water AND diabetes, infused water AND hypertension and infused water AND cholesterol ''. Literature published in 2010-2019 full text in PDF format and scholarly (peer reviewed journals). Results: The effect of infused water therapy for hypertension and cholesterol was proven by the journal Karmitasari et al (2018) and Aditi et al (2019) that the effect of mint and cucumber water was a decrease in blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension and weight loss for the obese; the effect of infused water therapy as an antioxidant is proven by the journal Nur et al (2018) and Indah et al (2019) that the levels of vitamin C and antioxidant activity of infused water lemon with variations in temperature and immersion time cause a noticeable difference; the effect of infused water therapy for health is evidenced by the research journal Atiqoh et al (2018) that celery stem infusion water extract has better inhibitory activity; and research journal Murna (2019) that the levels of ethanol, hedonic colors and aroma of infused water dates are influenced by the duration of immersion while the levels of vitamin C. Conclusion: There is an effect of infused water therapy for health. The more regular administration of infused water therapy, the more positive the health effects
