GAMBARAN FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEPATUHAN PENDERITA HIPERTENSI

Hypertension is no longer a foreign disease in the community because hypertension is a disease that is often suffered among the people and the largest in Indonesia. Hypertension in its treatment requires long term or lifetime treatment. Success in treatment is not only done by adherence to control, but also adherence in taking anti hypertensive drugs. The purpose of this study is to discuss several factors that influence hypertension. Design of this research is to use qualitative methods with a case study approach. The data collection in this study uses semi-structured interviews, documentation and domain analysis. The data collection was performed on three participants including participants and the families of the participants. The results of the case study showed that there was family support in the dietary patterns of hypertensive patients, adherence to medication, adequate patient and family knowledge of hypertension so that patients would be more motivated, enthusiasm in controlling hypertension by carrying out routine blood pressure checks, maintaining a hypertension food diet pattern and consuming hypertension medication routinely, where it makes patients able to maintain their health and avoid complications
