PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PRODUK JAMU HERBAL PADA AIR MINUM TERHADAP INDEKS PRODUKSI DAN PENERIMAAN USAHA TERNAK AYAM PEDAGING

Efforts to farmers in increasing production in chicken broiler antaralain by adding the feed herbs. Repair metabolism through giving herbs are not directly assumed would improve the performance of the well to the body of cattle through the substance bioactive that it contains. This research was conducted to determine the effect of herbal medicine into drinking water on the production index and business revenue of broilers. This study aims to determine the effect of herbal medicine into drinking on the production index and business revenue of broilers. This research was carried out in the Experimental Farm of a poultry unit of Closed House type, Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, for five weeks. The method used was an experimental designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and four replications using 100 DOC divided into 20 experimental units. The parameters measured were the final body weight and the income value. The treatment in this study was consisted of broiler (M0) without treatment (control), M1 was drink+ 1% of herbal medicine; M2 was drink+ 2% of herbal medicine and M3 was drink+ 3% of herbal medicine. The results of this study indicated that added of herbal herbs was has no significant effect (P< 0.05) on . While, the best value of revenue in the broilers enterprises by the total of 20 tails of bird was on P2 treatment with Rp. Rp. 845.380, - of revenues.
