PENGARUH DIVIDEN TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN YANG TERCATAT DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA (Studi Atas Teori Kebijakan Dividen)

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive effect of dividends on stock prices on companies in the food and beverage sector. The sample in this study were all food and beverage sector companies in the 2015-2018 period with certain criteria. The research method uses quantitative methods with secondary data. By testing the effect of dividends on stock prices on food and beverage companies this can help the directors in determining dividend policy. This test can be concluded through simple Linear regression analysis, and the results of the hypothesis test conclude that this study does not support the theory of relevance.
