PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DENGAN PENDEKATAN ACTIVE LEARNING DI SMP AL-MUSLIMIN PANDAN TAPANULI TENGAH

Purposes of Islamic Education in schools for students' character development based on the ideals of Islamic ethics as the highest goal of Islamic education. Students are not only expected to memorize and understand the ethics and values of Islam, but also required to internalize and practice it in their lives. That requires maximum effort and adequate preparation of teachers to master the methods of good teaching in order to create active learning, creative and effective in order to achieve results in accordance with the expected goals. This study aimed to describe an approach of active learning and implementation of active learning approuch in teaching in junior high PAI Al- Muslimin Pandan. This study used a qualitative approach with case study. The data collection technique was obtained by using: (1) the observation is to determine the process of implementation of the method of active learning in the learning PAI in SMP Al-Muslimin Pandan, (2) the interview is to determine a variety of information related to the implementation of the method of active learning in PAI learning in junior high school Al-Muslimin Pandan, (3) documentation that is to obtain data associated with the application of active learning methods in learning PAI. The results showed that innovation active learning instructional methods developed through innovation in supporting component in the learning process, namely innovation in the learning curriculum, teaching and learning approaches, the allocation of instructional time as well as media and learning resources. The main thing to consider teachers in the implementation of learning how to manage a class well, and how to use the methods that build engagement, intellectual, emotional and physical students so that the students understand, appreciate, and apply the material that was submitted to the teacher in daily life, so the purpose pembelajara PAI can be realized. Based on the results that active learning is more emphasis on learning approach, with the essence of activating students in learning, carried out with a strategy based learning students, and actualized in the study group of realism in any of the methods of problem-based learning as a method of study creations of students which is supported by a variety of learning theory, especially the theory of constructivism
