Identifikasi Hambatan Ibu dalam Memberikan ASI Eksklusif pada BBLR

BackgroundLow Birth Weight Babies (LBW) is still a problem in the field of health, especially perinatal health. Problems in giving exclusive breastfeeding to LBW are still experienced by mothers, especially in primiparous mothers and the ability of infants who are still lacking in reflexes to suck it. The purpose of this study was to determine the identification of maternal obstacles in providing exclusive breastfeeding to LBW. Methodsthis study used a qualitative method using a case study research approach with sampling purpose and data retrieval using semitructured interviews. Samples were taken using triangulation for data validation with three respondents, namely the families of mothers who experience barriers in providing exclusive breastfeeding to LBW in Singosari Lang-lang Region. The resultsof this obtained 4 themes, namely: (1) Problems in the removal of breast milk, (2) Lack of stimulation of baby suction, (3) Poor family support, (4) Psychological conditions in the mother. Discussionon LBW nutrition is very important for the growth of infants, especially exclusive breastfeeding because the content of breast milk that can protect the baby's body from infection, besides breast milk is good nutrition for the baby's body
