The project aimed to analyse the development and implementation of the capstone assessment known as the Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) administered by teacher education institutions to assess the professional readiness of graduating teachers. Four comparative case studies were undertaken to determine the classroom readiness of pre-service students. Results of the diverse approaches provide information about graduate readiness to students, institutions and government bodies
