From $p\=p$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.8$ TeV in the Fermilab Tevatron collider, top quarks are produced predominantly in $t\=t$ pairs. After applying a sophisticated even selection to the $\rm{\approx}100\ pb\sp{-1}$ data recorded by the DO detector, we have 35 $t\=t\to e(\mu)$ + jets candidates with the background estimated to be $16.3\pm 2.2.$ We perform a kinematically constrained fit for individual events, and the results are input to a likelihood analysis.
