Abnormal signalling from the Protein tyrosine kinases (PTKs) like receptor tyrosine kinases and intracellular tyrosine kinases can lead to diseases such as cancer especially non-small cell lung cancer, chronic myeloid leukaemia and gastrointestinal stromal tumours.
