Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) can be obtained from somatic cells through a dynamic process of reprogramming and represent an important step towards personalized regenerative medicine. Unfortunately, through available reprogramming protocols, iPSCs still acquire several genetic and epigenetic aberrations.
