Diese Arbeit untersucht den Einfluss des oxidativen und nitrosativen Stresses auf das Mundhöhlenkarzinom (oral squamous cell carzinoma, OSCC). Es wurden hierfür 30 histologisch gesichterte OSCC-Gewebeproben mit ebenfalls 30 Proben gesunder Mundschleimhaut verglichen, um potentielle Biomarker zu identifizieren. Als solche wurden pAKT, pERK, 3-Nitrotyrosin und 8-Isoprostan immunhistologisch untersucht, sowie PIK3CA, MAPK, NOS1 und NOS3 molekularbiologisch mittels PCR analysiert.
