Cognitive and semiotic approaches to the study of a film text: representations of unit violence (as exemplified in ‘Gone Girl' by Gillian Flynn and film adaptation by David Fincher)

The article reveals a review of two types of anlysis — conceptual and ideographic — used as a tool that reveals the meaning of the verbalised concept violence inside the American literature discourse and cinematography subtext.
