Background: Major depressive disorder is one of the leading diseases in the world. While anti-depressive medication is the most commonly used treatment, studies shows conflicting results of its benefits, where other alternative treatments are getting more attention such as psychological treatment and physical activity. Aim: The study aimed to illuminate the meaning of physical activity for adult patients suffering from major depressive disorder.
