AbstractObjective: Imaging studies of major depressive disorder (MDD) have reported structural and functional abnormalities in many, spatially diverse brain regions. Quantitative meta-analyses of this literature, however, have failed to find statistically significant between-study spatial convergence, other than transdiagnostic-only effects.
