Abstract English Name: Vladimír Vaněk The name of the Bachelor's thesis: Surface treatment of wooden garden gazebos and summerhouses stains coatings. This thesis is focused on the monitoring of changes in the quality of the surface treatment of wood wooden gazebos and summerhouses. The aim of this work was to verify the physico-mechanical properties of components that are exposed during the period of exposure to the outdoors and are intended for the manufacture of wooden gazebos and summerhouses. In the theoretical part we deal with the current trend of completion of timber products, including factors that affect the properties of the completed surface. The practical part is focused on the change in the quality of the surface finish of parts. Massive spruce wood (Picea abies) was chosen as background material, which was modified in shape, surface refacing and then impregnated. Spruce parts were divided into two halves, each half of which has been treated with different stain. One half was treated with a thin-film layer stain and the other half thick-film layer stain. After completing the finishes were all test samples exposed to the exterior. The aim of the Bachelor thesis in the experimental part of the change was to compare the quality of the surface in the course of one calendar year. The results are based on practical measurement of test samples.
