Regionální typologie roubených staveb na území ČR

This thesis discusses the classification of traditional log buildings according to their residential type and the local architectural form of the given time period and their use and function in the current administrative regions of the Czech Republic. The individual buildings are defined by the type of their construction, their details and typological characterictics. The attachments include catalog sheets, which provide appropriate recommendations for design of new timbered buildings, that will not disrupt the traditional landscape of a given location. The thesis also includes photodocumentation and final evaluations of newly constructed timbered buildings
