Design sedacího prvku z pěny

This thesis deals with the design of a foam sitting element. In order to create a successful design, it was necessary to study the theory and then proceed to the design process proper. The first part of the thesis analyses the history and typology of upholstered seating furniture, ergonomics, anthropometry and proper dimensions. A considerable part is dedicated to polyurethane foams and their processing. The second part of this thesis describes the product designing process, from research and first ideas through sketches, models creation, design modifications to prototyping at 1:1 scale
