The bachelor thesis is especially focused on characteristic and liqueur wines production and also their use in gastronomy. It primarily aims at liqueur wines produced in Spain and Portugal but it briefly mentions popularity of these wines in the Czech Republic as well. The thesis is focused on the history and origin of the most famous liqueur wines. The following chapter is concerned with legislative since these wines are defined by law and regulations which are necessary to be complied with. The next part of the thesis is focused on liqueur wines characteristic in general and then particularly on the most important ones character.
