Jedlé zahrady ve městě

This thesis is focused on edible gardens in an urban environment. The theoretical part contains the literature review where the main concepts of urban and ecological farming and edible gardens are characterized. The practical part of this thesis contains a case study describing a typical edible garden in the Czech Republic. As a part of the research a questionnaire survey was realized to determine the level of general knowledge and interest regarding edible gardens amongst the people in Brno. The questionnaire survey shows, that awareness of edible gardens is low and people in Brno would welcome edible garden. From the result of survey is apparently, that interest regarding edible gardens in Brno is relatively high and then was suggested some recommendation in the framework of realization.
