The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of the organic food market in the Czech Republic and its related fields. The beginning of the thesis is about organic agriculture. There are mentioned some legislative regulations, main principles and goals of organic farming, crop production and animal breeding principles or some pros and cons regarding this type of farming. The end of this chapter focuses on organic agriculture development, conditions and national support in the Czech Republic. The following part describes organic food including production, Czech control system and ways of labeling. Attention is also given to a comparison between organic and conventional food. The most important part is the last chapter focused on the organic food market in the Czech Republic. It simply describes the market development, consumers' awareness level, their attitude to organic food, supply and demand situation, ways of sale and some support measures. At the end of the thesis, there is an estimation of a possible future progress
