Zhodnocení poškození porostů ohryzem na území Lesního družstva obcí Ledeč nad Sázavou

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the gnawing presence and follow-up rot in the vegetation which is administrated by The forest cooperative in municipality Ledeč nad Sázavou. Those damages are caused by moufflons. The literature overview pays attention to wood-decaying mushrooms, especially the Stereum sanguinolentum, which have the secondary impact of gnawing. The thesis also deals with the cause of animal damages and the possibility of their elimination. In the practical part of the thesis it was determined the ratio of trees which are damaged by gnawing and the ration of trees damaged by gnawing with rot signs. Afterwards the average age of gnawing damages was determined in 3 vegetation groups. According to the research it was determined the economic loss at amount of 463 663 Kč. In the thesis there is also a suggestion for the elimination of the gnawing source
