The bachelor thesis deals with problematic of designing furniture element - dressing table. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The theoretical part contains chapters: theoretical basis of the dressing tables, historical overview and contemporary design, typology, ergonometric criteria, description of materials and technology. The design section is preceded by a research section, which consists of a survey of the current market in the form of research and research in the form of an online questionnaire with closed questions
