This diploma thesis deals with the design of sawmill operation at Pila Benda s.r.o. in Velký Pěčín. The thesis deals with the current state of operation in Firm, its production capacities, and the location for new Firm. The main part deals with three alternatives of sawmill design, three alternatives of logs storage and three alternatives of pallet production. All nine alternatives are supported by a drawing and all machines used in production are listed. The most suitable solution is recommended in the last part
