Bachelor thesis solves the design of single-storey family house without basement with residential attic. The house is located on a particular plot in the town of Žďár nad Sázavou. The introductory text part is devoted to the issue of living space, the requirements of the spatial plan for new buildings and the construction of frame wooden structures. The practical part is focused on the layout, spatial and structural solution of frame wooden buildings using agglomerated materials. Part of the work is the assessment of the proposed compositions, especially the calculation of the thermal permeability of the building envelope, the ceiling above the attic and the roof sheath. The output is then processed drawing documentation with the calculation of the approximate price of the building according to the uniform classification of building objects
